Lemon Sharks & Hammerheads - 41”x 29”
Watercolour, Gel Ink & Acrylic Paint
Original size: 10”x14”(Reserved)
Aerodynamic and exuding grace, sharks have always fascinated the artist as an avid diver herself. Lemon sharks and hammerheads were among the first sharks that Andie encountered when diving in the wondrous waters of the Cayman Islands. Thus, surely they would feature in her artwork!
Set against the backdrop of a full moon, the cool hues and smooth curves of the sharks encircle and compliment the moon’s circular form as an homage to lunar phases and their effects on all aspects of nature, human, marine or flora.
